About

I’m a multi-disciplinary Strategy Director and Team Lead with a proven track record in brand and business transformation. I am fascinated with what drives us as human beings, brand and community building, and using data as a tool for idea creation.

I am currently working as freelance Head of Brand & Strategy at Italian cycling apparel brand Q36.5.

Before that I worked as a brand strategy lead at media.monks - guiding teams of creatives, data specialists and copywriters from pitches to execution.

Since joining the team in 2018, I helped build and structure the strategy department, introduced digital brand and creative strategy as a core offer for clients and established it as an invaluable partner within the creative process itself.

The same year I’ve co-founded Bits Bodywear, where we’re rethinking the practical underwear category, making undies that are flattering for every body.

Before that I’ve worked with the guys at District Vision to launch their own wellness brand as well as rebrand multiple other brands including Simon Miller & Thomas Meyerhoffer.

Alongside my brand strategies studies I’ve developed Patagonia Collective as my graduation thesis, a digital platform for a new generation of activistis that I was able to pitch at their Amsterdam headquarters and that was executed as a global campaign in ‘Action Works’

Methodology

I approach brands as systems that are rooted in a strong purpose, centred around experiences and built to evolve within rapidly changing contexts.

Instead of looking simply for the ‘white space’ I believe that a brand’s potential comes from looking at the ‘right space’ to own and play a meaningful role in.

I see strategy as the springboard for creative ideation and the rationale behind every business and product decision. An effective strategy for me is practical and can be easily understood and executed by various teams, can be scaled across markets and audiences and has measurable impact on business and sales, not just brand perception.
