Netflix asked us to turn The Witcher into the most anticipated Netflix show to launch, which meant that we needed to reach beyond IP Lovers and Die-hard Fantasy Fans - and engage a more casual fantasy audience within the series.
Built by fans, for fans, The Witcher: Map of the Continent is an interactive map that creates a full chronological account of the season’s events, characters and creatures — answering popular demand with tons of animated extras and easter eggs.
The map brings together a world of information in a single space, and helps fans understand complex timelines and events, revealing connections that viewers might have otherwise missed. Geared towards a new type of fantasy fan that wants to be challenged within the narrative, our interactive experience did exactly that and won an FWA along the way.
